Enni, Moers – One of the most extensive greened façade surfaces in Germany
The unconventional administration building demonstrates the utility and infrastructure service provider‘s ecologically oriented approach. While the interior features a modern working atmosphere, the building cladding leaves a lasting impression: With a total of roughly 600 m² [6458,35 ft²], the structure bears one of the most extensive greened façade surfaces in Germany. The striking plantscape is an aesthetically defining feature that also reduces energy consumption thanks to its heat-insulating properties. Supplemented by a photovoltaic system and charging stations for electric mobility, the architectural concept sets a pioneering milestone for climate protection.
robatherm is responsible for the air handling technology inside the impressive administration building. Four weatherproof AHUs on the roof provide the interiors with highquality, healthy air. Thus, from offices and meeting rooms to canteens and sanitary areas are efficiently air-conditioned – more than 80% of heat recovery efficiency speaks for itself. For optimal operation of the AHUs, the responsible parties trusted in a one-stop solution. Therefore, they decided on robatherm‘s expertise in control technology.
